Jordan's Story...
Hi there. I'm a shy little man waiting for that perfect someone to come along and give me the confidence boost I need. The world can be a little overwhelming, but I am sure that I can learn to navigate it successfully with the right person. If you give me time to warm up, I will show you my goofy side. I just love to run around and play or chase some toys. Sometimes, I even like to bay when I am really happy. Even though I can be timid, there's nothing I enjoy more than time spent snuggling close. Since fast movements and loud noises scare me, I am recommended for homes with older children (12+). I enjoy the company of other dogs and would love a doggie companion to help bring me out of my shell. So, if you have other dogs at home, bring them for a visit so we can ensure we're a match. Won't you come snuggle with me today? Just look into my big, sad eyes and fall deeply in love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jordan, a Harrisonburg Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
