Hank's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Hank's Story...
Our boy Hank is a hoot! He is a bundle of joyful energy embodied in an adorable small frame. Hank may be smaller in stature but he loves to play with the larger dogs here at the shelter. He can hold his own with the big dogs but will back off when they let him know they've had enough. Such good doggie play manners! Hank is also a great fan of humans. He enjoys meeting new people and loves to cuddle. Hank is treat-motivated so we think he’ll be a good student in training class. This boy is eager to please and we love him for that and so much more! Come down and meet our spunky Hankie sometime soon.

Act quickly to adopt Hank. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
