Facts about Duarde

  • Breed: Pit Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Five year old Duarde has been waiting since Hurricane Sandy for his forever home. Duarde is at True Companions in Damascus PA where he was trained by master trainer Jeff. Jeff reports that Duarde has passed with flying colors and is ready for his forever home. Duarde would do best in a home as the only dog, but would be ok with a calm cat. Teens and up, quite home. True Companions would meet with any potential adopter and show Duarde's new family how very smart he is. They would also offer any assistance should any questions come up. Sounds like a great deal to me, a gorgeous trained dog and lifetime support from a master trainer. if you are interested please call 516-719-0808 or 516-313-8262 or email ffoli.info@gmail.com

About Forgotten Friends of Long Island

About Our Rescue Group...

We are Forgotten Friends of Long Island (FFLI) and we are driven to rescue the forgotten ones in our shelters or the ones abandoned and alone on the streets. Dogs and cats on euth that sit in the shelter being passed up just because they look ordinary or maybe have disabilities like blindess or fear. This rescue is not about the numbers, but focused more on the lost ones who deserve a chance at life.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Visit our website for all events and locations www.forgottenfriendsoflongisland.org or please fan us on facebook www.facebook.com/ffoli - thank you!

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process consists of a completed application, a phone or in-person conversation and a home visit. It is of the utmost importance to us to make a match with the adopter(s) and the dog or cat. The goal is a forever home so this is why this match is so important :) It is our pleasure to provide continued assistance with all of our adopted pets and no adoption is final until a bond is formed between you and your new dog/cat. You are now part of the FFLI family and we are always here for our animals.
