My story

Meet Miss Macy! She's a high fashion gal that would love a home and some new outfits for her wardrobe. Macy is a 3 year old black lab mix that was rescued from another shelter so her history is not known. She's been the perfect lady since her arrival and has manners. Macy had to have a loving home sometime in the past. She certainly deserves another. Stop by and see if she will be the next fashion diva in your family. Macy was recently adopted and returned. She was experiencing some separation anxiety. It's best if Macy were adopted into a home where someone is home a lot of the time. Get your adoption applications in now.

On October 23, 2014, Macy was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. She is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. She will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.
