I am a 3.5 years old, female, spayed, microchipped, black Dachshund / Chiweenie looking for my forever home. I was rescued from Downey shelter with my brother CHILI and have received best care in my foster home. I am loving, playful, smart and like cuddling and be spoiled as much as hang out with my brother and other doggy friends around. Since a foster home is awesome after getting out of the shelter, I am still in need of my forever loving home - offers for me and my brother CHILI together are welcome! Best match for me would be a family with school-aged children and a fenced yard to keep us all safe while enjoying outdoor life.

Requirements for Adoption:
There should be another dog in the family, we believe that every dog should have a buddy and here you can read about the benefits:
The dogs are inside dogs and family members, the adopter has a secure fenced yard to exercise and play in. Children should be school-aged or older, no toddlers.
DONUT's adoption fee is $250 and includes:
Spay, Microchip, Rabies, Vaccinations (5in1 and Bordatella), Deworming, Preventive treatment against fleas /ticks and internal parasites, Grooming.
Discounted adoption fee for DONUT and CHILI together is $400.
If you are offering a loving home for DONUT and preferably CHILI, please use contact info to inquire and receive an application to complete and return it with photos / video of your yard, perimeter on fencing and gates prior to schedule a meet and greet. Application receipt is not approval for adoption. All applications will be reviewed by the board of directors for approval.
