Amos's Story...
Avery is a sweet Australian Shepard/Great Pyrenees mix that came to our rescue after she had given birth to 6 beautiful puppies. The puppies were 8 weeks old when we got the call for help. We were so happy when we arrive to find 2 girls and 4 boys full of happy puppy love.
Mom weighs 60lbs and dad is completely unknown. The pups are 8 weeks old and all weigh between 3-6 lbs. You can see more pictures and information on their development on our website and Facebook account.
The pups will be 9 weeks old on October 27th and ready for their forever homes. They had their first visit to the vet on October 20th, all puppies received their first round of vaccinations, they tested positive for intestinal parasites and are currently being treated, and otherwise they have a clean bill of health.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amos, a Russellville Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees for sale in Russellville, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Russellville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Russellville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Russellville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Russellville paves the way for another one to be saved.
