My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BENJI HAS BEEN ADOPTED!**UPDATE 1/10 We had an adopter ask us to bring Benji up from southern IL for them to meet him, but once he made it to Chicago, we never heard back from them about scheduling a meeting, so Benji is now in boarding. He would love to get out of a foster or forever home soon and out of a cage ASAP!**Benji is a loving, gentle and very friendly and affectionate boy looking for a family! Benji is male Coonhound, he's about 2 years old and was found as a stray in southern IL. Unfortunately he was never claimed and now he is looking for a loving and permanent home. Benji loves meeting new people and he also does well with other dogs. Benji is generally pretty laid back and will fit in easily to most households. He is crate trained, but since we have only observed him in a shelter environment we cannot say for sure if he is house trained or not, so we do need interested adopters to be willing to possibly take on this task. He has been neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested and microchipped. He is ready to go!
• Benji's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Benji from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!
