Nellie's Story...
Hi, my name is Nellie! I am a little puppy looking for a family to care for me. I came to this place from another shelter that had a lot of puppies and dogs and cats and kittens looking for homes. Can you help me find my forever home? I can't promise not to chew your things or make potty inside, but I can learn not to do those things if you help me! I'm still young, so if you bring me around other dogs and cats, I will learn how to act around them, and with little humans, too! I might jump on them and lick them, though, until I learn not to do that. Please share my story on the big Internet so I can find my forever family, and contact my shelter if YOU want to be my family! I am about 12 weeks old, and I am a lab mix

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nellie, a Middletown Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
