My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Who sticks their tongue out when you take their picture...apparently our China does !

This girl was a stray at a local shelter. She was literally a bag-of-bones when they brought her in. Malnourished, filthy and unwanted...China had the good people at the shelter to care for her in her time of need.

Our foster mom saw China and it was love at first sight. The foster mom couldn't take her eyes off the bones sticking out on China and her heart broke for her.
China is now on the road to recovery with good meals, a soft place of her own to sleep, she had a warm bubble bath (that she LOVED) and a foster brother and sister that are black labs to play with. Life is good !

China gets along with everyone. She absolutely LOVES children and is very gentle with them. She likes to do-the-crawl to them to introduce herself in a gentle way. China lives to play! She is energetic but has an off-switch...she loves relaxing and listening to Kenny G. She is curious and happy. She was even introduced to a little rabbit and wasn't sure what to make of him but her curiosity was gentle toward him.

China has taken it upon herself to enjoy a few things not really in the foster mom's basic training manual. For example like sitting on the swing and enjoying the view from a relaxed height (see photo)...or...while the foster mom is sitting on a chair and working on the computer, China will crawl up on the same chair and look over the foster mom's shoulder or lay down behind the foster mom's back and go to sleep. Mom needs a to get bigger chair.

China knows how to walk with a pack or on a leash by herself. She is quite the lady. She is a fast learner, very smart and is learning basic commands from her foster mom. China is easy and well tempered.

China is a 1 year old Terrier/American Bulldog mix. She is 43 pounds, UTD on vaccinations, housebroken, spayed and micro chipped.
