My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're lucky enough to bring OJ home you can expect a terrific addition to your life. OJ is a friendly, easy-going adaptable 12-year-young boy whose needs could not be more modest. He won't beg for attention but he'll reward you with a warm, welcoming response whenever you spend time with him. He accepts invitations to play and enjoys sleeping next to you at night. He doesn't like belly-rubs, and will let you know in the gentlest way possible. If you want to make OJ really happy, try some Bonito fish flakes.

In his former life he was denied a truly satisfying home, spending much time alone. He'll claim a quiet spot in the house for his repose but is easily coaxed into socializing. He loves to be brushed and will take all you can offer, so hair on the furniture need not be a problem. He will always use the litter box, wherever you put it. OJ's voice is very limited, like a whisper.

It's recommended that OJ stay indoors, as that is what he is used to. He's probably too seasoned to keep up with a young child. The last couple to foster OJ was very sad to see him go. His peaceful, amicable nature has been seen with the other cats he's met, although he'd probably do best as the only cat in the household. While his personality is mellow, he is not just a part of the scenery. He's a wonderful friend.
