Autumn's Story...
Hi! My name is Autumn which fits me perfectly as I absolutely adore Fall! Nowadays you can find me lying in the window catching the suns rays! I try to work on my tan but since it's Fall, I think I can let it slide a bit. I also find it extremely entertaining to watch the leaves fall outside the window. I just watch, no chasing for me. It’s way too scary and cold for a girl like me to be outside!! Right now I live in a foster home in Hazel Green, Al with my sister Marie and other cats and dogs. Also, there’s these really interesting little things they call kids. They are tons of fun and I love chasing them up and down the hall. I also get carried around a lot which suits me just fine! Anyway, enough about me, I’d love to hear about you. Fill out an application and we can meet!!! Hurry, before Fall is over and I have no more leaves to watch…..then I would need a new hobby. You can learn more about me by emailing info@FORrescue.net I'll be in touch quickly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
