Mopsy's Story...
Name: Mopsy
Color: White
Breed: New Zealand/Lop
Gender: Female
Age: 2 Months
Mopsy is a playful girl looking for a loving indoor home. She would love to go to a home that can provide her with the time and attention she deserves. Rabbits can be quite social and would love to hop around your rabbit-proofed house while you are lounging around. Mopsy will require a cage kept clean and indoors, plenty of hay and daily greens to keep her happy and healthy. Rabbits also enjoy a variety of toys to entertain themselves with while you are unable. Mopsy came in with her sister Flopsy and the two would love to go to a home together but it isn't required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mopsy, a Bellingham New Zealand was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a New Zealand for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a New Zealand from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even New Zealand breeders who help with New Zealand rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
