Angel's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Angel's Story...
Take a look into her eyes.... What do you see? Perhaps you see the soul of a kitten that has beaten the odds since birth. Having been abandoned with her litter mates, she was taken in by a loving foster family that molded her into the kitten she is today. Angel loves to be loved...Whether it is holding her in your arms allowing her to purr until her hearts content or an afternoon cat nap cuddled up on your lap. Angel loves to play just like every other kitten; toys, feathers, or even a shoe string she will be happy! She is a young kitten that has come so far in her young life. Will you be the one to give this Angel her heaven on earth?

Angel's adoption fee is $100; she is microchipped, spayed, and up to date on vaccines. Some of our pets are in foster care. If you are interested in a specific pet, please contact the shelter at 618-282-7387 to arrange a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Columbia Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
