Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JoJo was brought to us on Tuesday, Sept 30, 2014, by four ladies driving from Aiken, SC, to Edisto Beach, SC. They saw a small starving beagle eating a dead turtle in the middle of the road and immediately stopped to pick her up. They named her JoJo and with tears in their eyes handed her over to Animal Lovers of Edisto Canine Rescue on the condition she would not be put down. We are a no kill rescue group so that was not an issue. JoJo's backbone was protruding on her back and ribs were showing on both sides of her tiny 15 lb body. JoJo is about 2 to 3 years old, now weighs about 20 lbs, is up to date on shots, dewormed and spayed. She is a real sweetheart who loves, loves attention. Her favorite thing is laying in her human's lap but she also loves going on walks. JoJo does not like being alone, likes children and other dogs. She is sharing a kennel with a tri colored deer dog/Walker hound Barney because she didn't like being alone. Now she seems happy. JoJo is a good little girl who likes playing with toys and chewing on rawhide chews. Most of all she just wants lots of TLC and a loving forever home. Your first step in adopting JoJo is to fill out an adoption application. All information on the application must be completed including phone numbers and a vet reference (an old one, or a reason why there is not one) before it will be processed. Please contact Margaret at 843-869-3869 or martowe514@gmail.com for an adoption application, for more information, or to set up a date and time to meet JoJo! Thank you for reading about JoJo!
