My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE: Winnie came to AGK in February as a very hungry and frightened girl. While still unsure of new situations at first, it doesn't take her long to warm up! She enjoys chasing cats, loves to cuddle, begs for attention and aims to please (especially when treats are involved). My name is Winnie and I am somewhat of a princess. You see I came all the way from Kentucky where a nice lady picked me up from a shelter there. I am not sure how I ended up in a shelter but it was loud and very scary (to this day, loud things make me jump and shake). Good thing that AGK came to my rescue! So back to why I am a princess. First, you can see I am QUITE beautiful. Second, I do not like anyone touching my food when I am eating. Third, I like lots of attention. I would prefer to live in a home with children that are older than 12 years old (little tykes like to take my food). I am house-trained, very sweet, and LOVE to play with my foster Golden sister. I don't mind cats either. I am about 2 years old and I am mostly Golden Retriever, although I have soft white fur - not the golden color most folks are used to seeing in goldens. I need a home with a fenced in yard - I like my privacy when going to the bathroom - since I'm a princess and all, ha! If you are interested in adopting a sweet and loving girl, ask for me - Winnie!
