Mira's Story...
Sodom (pronounced Sadum) and Mira were recently surrendered, as they had been abandoned by their previous owner and dumped on someone else. Sodom is a neutered 10 month old male, all black Lop. He is very sweet, likes to be held, comes when called, and is totally litterbox trained. Mira is an 8 month old calico colored Dwarf, who is also friendly but a little more shy. She follows Sodom everywhere he goes, and they would do best in a home together, as they are very attached. Both of them are at the shelter and waiting to be adopted! CSA has many other Rabbits for adoption, as well as Guinea Pigs, a pair of Ferrets, and a Mouse! If you are interested in any of our small animals, stop by the shelter or call 908-859-3060

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mira, a Broadway Dwarf was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dwarf for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Dwarf from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dwarf breeders who help with Dwarf rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
