My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPT IOTA and HER ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED!

IOTA’s Adoption Fee ($125) has been paid for by a generous member of her fan club, so if you adopt Iota, the fee will be waived!

Iota is a medium-energy dog who loves to fetch and play, but also enjoys snuggling with her adoring fans (of which there are many.) She’s been taking weekly training classes with BADRAP, refining her leash manners and learning proper canine etiquette. She is very social in doggie playgroups at the shelter and could possibly be placed with another well-matched dog. What’s not to love?

Those ears! Iota is a perky and friendly girl who always has at least one of her adorable ears up in greeting - her trademark, along with her huge smile. This sweet, medium-energy pup loves people and is a couch potato and cuddle bug at heart. She is one of the easiest dogs at the shelter to leash up, and she greets volunteers coming to take her out with an intent 'sit' and adoring gaze. Iota is typically easy and relaxed out walking and is learning proper leash manners that all dogs should have. It's no surprise that Iota has quickly become a popular girl with both volunteers and fellow shelter dogs alike. She entertains volunteers with games of fetch and is one of the most social, engaged players in the shelter doggie play groups. She loves to run around with her canine friends. She could likely be placed in a home with a well-matched doggie companion. During an overnight home visit, Iota behaved quite nicely and was content to sit or snooze near her people, cuddled up on any soft and cushy surface with a chew toy. She is also treat-motivated and does well in the weekly BAD RAP training classes (she already knows 'sit' and 'leave it'); she can continue training with BAD RAP for free with her adopter. Are you looking for a loving, freckled beauty to join your family? Come meet Iota today! ** Iota's adoption fee has been pre-paid by her shelter fan club! **
