My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Come on down to Friendship and meet Piper. He's a big loveable lug of a dog. Piper is a 5 year old American Bulldog mix that was surrendered because his family was expecting a new baby. His owner's father brought him in and didn't say much about him. Piper came in a little frightened but has since grown to trust the staff and volunteers and is a joy to be around. He's a strong boy that walks well on a leash and likes attention. He seems fine with the other dogs at the shelter but has never been around cats. Because of his size older children are recommended. Take it slow when you come to visit. It takes him a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he's a sweetheart. If you're looking for an all around nice big dog to be your new best friend, you need to meet Piper.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
