My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

At first glance, handsome Cole looks very much like a Pug but his parentage says otherwise. His mom was a Pug and his father a Pug/Terrier mix, so that makes Cole 75% Pug but 100% adorable! Just shy of his first birthday on November 7, this 25-pounder is high-energy and playful, and will make a great pet for an active family. He was surrendered to Kiko due to eating non-edible items, which ultimately led to an expensive surgery, but has not demonstrated any of this behaviour since coming into the rescue. That being said, Cole cannot go to a home with small children where there is a greater risk of ingesting things left lying around should he once again be tempted. All Kiko dogs have been examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, dewormed, tested for heartworm, sterilized, and require an adoption fee of $400 ($275 for senior dogs and $125 for cats) and an adoption contract.
