found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
I was rescued from a puppy mill with 4 other poodles. My owners had 47 poodles that they were breeding. Yes, we are all old but that does not stop greedy people from trying to make money off of our puppies. We flew in a private airplane from Washington, NC to Morganton, NC for Healing Hearts Small Animal Rescue to pick us up and take us into their rescue and foster care program.
My foster mom has decided that Heaven and I need to be adopted together. We really love each other and seek each others comfort. We also love other dogs and cats. We both have bilateral cataracts so we have very limited vision but that does not stop us from following our foster mom around the house. Once we learn the layout of the house we get along just fine. We both crave human attention and just want a warm lap to curl up in during the day and a soft bed at night. We like to go for car rides. Our foster mom says we are the best girls in the world because we were easy to potty train and we are also crate trained. We are both estimated to be 10 years old.

Your first step in adopting a new family member is to fill out the free online adoption application. The adoption form must be filled out completely with phone numbers and a vet reference before it will be processed. Your application will not be processed without this information.
We sometimes receive many applications on one dog. Our goal is to place the dog in the best home possible based on his/her needs, personality and past history. Please note that adoptions are NOT done on a first come, first serve basis, and filling out an application does not guarantee the adoption of any dog. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for inaccurate or false information. We are looking for the best possible home for this animal. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
