Tiny's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tiny's Story...
I am so CUTE! I am a 7 year old Shih Tzu and Pekingese mix. I am a beautiful white and blonde color. My foster mom laughs at me because I have these super short little legs that make me look like a moving dust mop. I am super sweet, get along great with other dogs and cats.

I love to cuddle and cuddle some more but I want in the bed with you. Please do not try putting me in a crate because I do not like it at all. I want to be with my family at all times so someone who can spend a great deal of time with me would be best.

I have been spayed, heartworm tested, had my rabies shot and booster shot updated as well as a mammary tumor removed. Please do not let the mammary tumor scare you because the doctors removed all of it and now I am ready to live a long life with you. I was a little chubby when I first came into rescue but I have lost a little weight and I am feeling great.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny, a Old Fort Shih Tzu/Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Pekingese for sale in Old Fort, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Pekingese dog from a breeder in Old Fort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Fort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Fort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Pekingese breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Fort paves the way for another one to be saved.
