Winston's Story...
Hi, my name is Winston. Winston is a very sweet, playful dog. He is around 12 weeks old now, about 9-10 lbs, gets along with every one in the household, tries to play with the cats, loves his person and likes to cuddle. He gets car sick but likes to hike once we get somewhere. Loves to eats, too. Thats to be expected, if you could have seen how emancipated he was when he showed up at my door you would cry. He's 90% paper trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Old Fort Corgi/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Dachshund for sale in Old Fort, or seeking a Corgi/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Old Fort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Fort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Fort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Dachshund breeders who help with Corgi/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Fort paves the way for another one to be saved.
