~ABOUT ME~

Howdy! I'm McKenna! My brother, MacArthur and I came to POET after a different rescue bailed on us, because we have mange. We are GREAT puppies, full of life and all kinds of silly.

I am a bit more outgoing than my brother and I LOVE toys!!!! The POET folks are still getting to know us so my bio will be updated as they learn more about me. So check back!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

McKenna, a Garden City Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Garden City, or seeking a Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Garden City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Garden City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Garden City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Garden City paves the way for another one to be saved.
