My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MVP Goose and her sister Bianca were taken from a rural "breeder" very sick and undernourished and almost completely feral. Within days of coming into the rescue, they both broke with parvo. It was extremely touch and go for about two weeks and both luckily survived and have grown into healthy, happy puppies.

Goose is learning and gaining confidence by leaps and bounds in her foster home. She is still a little timid and needs a little time to warm up, but she is VERY sweet and will cause no trouble. We are recommending a home with children 10ish and older, so she can continue to learn in a calmer environment, but she LOVES children, as evident by one of her pictures! Because of her ability to spook, she will need a secure yard and a family that is slow and patient and ready to teach this beautiful shepherd how great life is. If you have another confident dog, that is perfect, as she gets her confidence and bravado from the resident pets and loves them all, cats and dogs. Aside from still learning, she is EXTREMELY sweet and loves to snuggle as close to you as she can get (which may be very amusing when she is full grown).

Goose's adoption fee is $300. Please research the German Shepherd Dog. They are extremely smart, active and shed more than most dogs. They need guidance and training and when they do, are one of the most loyal breeds around. Goose will need an experienced adopter and a confident playmate to thrive.

All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs or learning more about our organization, please visit www.miamivalleypitcrew.com! No adoptions will be made to individuals under the age of 25, except on a case by case basis.
