Jasmine's Story...
Jasmine came to us when her beloved owner became ill. This real beauty is a little shy, kinda chubby, & a lotta lovable. She has gorgeous dark blue eyes. She loves to have her thick, soft fur brushed, purring the whole time. At 6 years old, Jasmine doesn’t care about toys or causing mischief. She gets along with other cats that don’t demand a playmate. She would be happiest in a calm, quiet home that just wants a low-maintenance princess to cherish. She is spayed, current on vaccines, & microchipped. She has been tested for feline leukemia & FIV. To hear more about Jazzy, email, call BHS at 540/586-6100, or go to to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a Bedford Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
