Amigo's Story...
Cuddly Amigo is a real sweetheart. He loves to wrap his arms around your neck & give kisses. He was born about April, 2012, & grew up with 2 brothers. He is good with other cats & is not afraid of dogs. He has a charming personality made even harder to resist with his tendency to tilt his head when he looks at you. This minor imbalance comes from an ear injury, but doesn’t affect his ability to find warm laps or to play. Amigo needs an all indoor home where he won’t have to jump to safety. Please give this overgrown kitten a lap to call his very own. Amigo is current on vaccines & has been microchipped, neutered & tested for kitty viruses. For more info, email LMHANDVTM@msn.com or call BHS at 540/586-6100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amigo, a Bedford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
