My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

URGENT!!! Adoption fell thru! Dump Truck (and Eclipse, who will be shown in her own ad) have only until October 30 to find a new home.

They are located in Dubuque, Iowa. Dump Truck and Eclipse were both rescued, form different circumstances, long ago now, and they have been loyal family companions for most of their lives. Tragically, they are about to lose their family to a move. The community the family is moving to legally forbids several breeds, including the Pit Bull category. To ease this life-changing event for them, they really need to be placed together, if at all possible.

There are no behavior issues. Both Dump Truck and Eclipse are kid friendly and good with other dogs. Neither has been around cats, however. Both are house-trained, UTD on shots, and neutered/spayed. Dump Truck is a 7 y/o male, and Eclipse is a still young-acting and energetic 13 y/o female.

The family that was supposed to be taking them backed out at the last minute with no explanation before the dogs were in their home.

PLEASE HELP! network these family dogs and prevent them from ending up in a shelter, or worse.
