Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kibou is a gorgeous and sweet, five-year-old, front-declawed, long-haired Maine Coon-mix Tortoiseshell cat looking for a loving guardian.
Kibou means Hope in Japanese. And, Kibou is hopeful of finding the absolutely perfect home for her. She has been well-loved and beautifully cared for since she was a tiny kitten. However, an increased travel schedule forced her mom to give her up for adoption.
Kibou has always lived as the one and only pet in the home. She’s absolutely fine and non-aggressive with my more gentle natured cats and fascinated by my rabbit … but she and the other “Divas” hiss at each other but it doesn’t escalate beyond that.
Kibou is more of a snuggler than a player. She loves to hang out, be brushed and admired, greet you at the door and follow you around the house.
She uses her litter box perfectly and even though she has no claws in the front, she still enjoys scratching at her post. She is extremely healthy, up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, micro-chipped and virus-tested.
To meet and possibly adopt Kibou, please contact Sheri at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. She is currently living in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago. Her adoption fee of $125 benefits rescued cats.
