Age: 14 months
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 44 lbs
Variety: Bench
As you can see from his photos, Willis is a striking young lad. He has great energy and is a typical, silly Springer. His Forever Home will be so lucky to get this Frisbee-loving boy! Throw a Frisbee and Willis will chase it every time. However, Willis would love for his Forever Family to teach him what to do once he's caught the Frisbee--in other words, to return it to the person who threw it!
Willis will benefit greatly from a family that is patient and willing to show him plenty of attention. Because he is young and spunky, his people will need to exercise him on a daily basis. He enjoys playing with dogs and cats. Although his foster home does not include any small children, we feel that Willis would be fine with children or grandchildren of any age.
Willis is housetrained and crate trained, and he stays in his crate while his foster parents are away. However, he does look forward to earning the trust of his new family and then being able to have the run of his new home.
Most importantly, Willis has a heart of gold, and he lives to bring a smile to your face. This sweet boy is patiently waiting to find his Forever Home, where he can learn to be the best companion ever. If this great dog sounds like just the one you're looking for, don't wait! Contact his case managers right away at the e-mail address below.
Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.
Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Willis.
