My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buttercup is a 12-13 year old female, and is as sweet and laid back as they come. She still gets around well, and is in great health, although the vet determined that she has normal arthritis for her age. We would suggest a house with small or few steps to ease her mobility inside and outside in the coming years. She spends a lot of time napping and likes to stroll leisurely through the yard sniffing things and looking for squirrels. Buttercup will chase a ball on occasion and sometimes breaks into a trot or light run when she is feeling playful. She does well around other dogs and people. She would do best around older children that understand not to climb or pull on her. She is a good leash walker and she is well behaved off leash as well. She is a good car rider. She loves to put her head in your lap for petting and put her paw on your arm, and she is not hesitant to flop down at your feet and take a nap. She is your typical oldie goldie and is looking for a warm home full of peace, love, and patience to live out her "golden years."
