Angel's Story...
Angel is about 8 yr old poodle mix who weighs about 8 lbs. This sweet girl was pulled from a pound in southern KS where she had been waiting for a couple weeks, hoping her family would find her. That obviously did not happen and instead, Angel is now safely in foster care. Her little legs were totally matted and boy or boy, did she smell! She has had a professional grooming and is ready to go into her forever home. Angel is a total love bug but due to her size, she may not be the appropriate dog for children under 5. She will do best in a home where someone will be around most of the time. She is spayed, has had a dental, current on all vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworms. Angel has been kept on heart worm preventative and flea & tick control as well. If you would like more information about ANGEL, please contact Jacque at hahsfostermom@earthlink.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Overland Park Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
