Andy's Story...
Looking for unconditional love? You’re at the right place!

Hello, my name is Andy. I love playing with toys...let me emphasize that, I LOVE playing with toys.  Sorry just wanted to make sure you got that.  Don't get me wrong, toys aren't my only love though, I really enjoy a lot of other things too, like food.

Do you have other pets?  Hey no worries I don't mind either way.  Dogs, cats, no problem, I'm pretty easy going.  You just have to give me a sunny window a good toy and a nice solid back rub and I'm good to go!  And don't worry about having to entertain me, I'm have plenty of imaginary foes to fight all day long!  On a side note, if you happen to have a empty laundry basket for me to lay in I would really appreciate it.  So I'll see you back at your place right?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
