Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Bandit! Bandit is an 11 month old australian cattle dog/brittany mix weighing about 25 lbs. Bandit is a loving, silly boy once he gets to know you. He will make you laugh and be an excellent best friend for an active owner who loves to take walks and play ball....and of course, snuggle.
Bandit's journey with us started in July when we pulled him from a very small pound in Upper Sandusky where he was found tied to the fence. Bandit joined his foster mom on her farm where he lives with many foster dog siblings and horses. Bandit is crate trained and house trained. He needs a patient owner who understands he will be shy and scared at first with new people and let's him come around with positive reinforcement and continues his socialization. We feel Bandit is ready to make his transition into a new loving family and share his goofy side with someone who will love him forever, but we will gradually transition him through multiple meet and greets.
We have been concentrating on Bandit's socialization skills over the past few months. Bandit is one smart guy and just started working on his basic obedience, but he can still be very rambunctious and jumpy (he's all puppy!) so no young children please. Bandit loves other dogs and would enjoy a doggie playmate who doesn't mind a high energy youngster who wants to wrestle!
