Bogger's Story...
This big and beautiful boxer/mastiff mix is Bogger, a one year old pup that would just love a great home of his own. Bogger came to us when his owner could no longer care for him and had to give him up. He was not very happy to be uprooted from the only home and family he had ever known to come here, but he has already made so many new friends that give him lots of attention, and help him look forward to a happy future. Bogger is just a big puppy that loves to play, have fun, and be silly. He is well behaved while he's inside and will sit nicely when asked. He takes treats very gently too. Outside on a walk, he could use a bit of training with leash walking for jumping up occasionally, and even playing with the leash from time to time, but he takes correction very well and is a fast learner. Bogger is a bit unsure of strangers passing by while outside, but once he meets you, he'll love you and be your best friend. Bogger seems to like other dogs and would do best in a home with no children under the age of 10. This sweet boy is eager to start over in life with a loving family that will love him forever. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bogger, a Forked River Cane Corso/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso/Boxer for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Cane Corso/Boxer dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso/Boxer breeders who help with Cane Corso/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
