Finley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Finley's Story...
Finley was an owner turn in to the shelter but we don't know why. We are big fans of his! He's easy going, mellow, loves everyone, and is as cute as can be with his hair! He's about 8 years old and is little over-weight but he's on a diet now and will be trim in no time! Finley would be perfect in any home though he isn't big on playing with toys so kids might find him boring. If you'd like to adopt Finley email info@forrescue.net. He's fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Finley, a Chattanooga Irish Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Irish Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Irish Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Irish Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Irish Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
