My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky is a one year old lab American Bulldog mix who loves to run and play! He is smart, and with a little attention and effort, this boy will be a terrific friend and companion! I can see him in someone’s home running with kids and chasing a ball or at the park catching a Frisbee or hiking, boating or whatever you feel the need to do and at the end of the day be your couch potato!

Rocky loves people and thinks the world of kids. He does extremely well with other dogs and cats are ok too…but sometimes it is fun to chase them a bit if they run!!

What a love!! Happy is his middle name….he can run like a greyhound!! I swear he can!! He is FAST! Rocky and his foster brother are both speed demons, and will race whenever they are out together…which can almost be dangerous if you don’t keep your eyes open and stay out of the way!!

If a person is willing to take the time Rocky would be an awesome partner at Frisbee or baseball or just about anything a person wanted to teach him! He’s a big boy and will get heavier and more muscular. Take him hiking, teach him agility…heck enter him in a dog race!!!

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***
