My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lady is an 8 year old brindle female with natural ears. Update 11/17/14 -Lady may be eight years young, but don't tell her! She doesn't look it, loves long walks, and jumps around outside like a dog half her age. She is a talker and will tell stories when you come in from a long day at work. She loves everyone she comes in contact with: men, women, other dogs (male and female), cats and horses. We have no small children in the area, so we haven't tried her out with them, but we have a feeling she would be fine with them. All she needs is her forever home to call her own.

****Starting Dec 15 through Jan 1, we have a moratorium on adoptions. The holidays are a stressful time for animals due to changes in schedule and visitors, etc. Our rescue does not feel that the holiday season is a good time to introduce one of our orphans to a new home. We welcome you to begin the adoption process now however, if you are approved during this time, you would not be able to adopt until after January 1st.
