Fumi (Fumiko) is a 12 yr female Shiba Inu who has only known one family. Fumi and her brother, Sumi, had a family who loved them very much but the house they lived in for 17 years was taken away from them. Both dogs were very sad their first night away from the only family they ever knew; Fumi cried all night long and checked all the doors to find a way back to her former home. Fortunately, Fumi’s foster mom is comforting her and introducing her gently to her new life. Fumi has learned to walk on a harness rather than a choke chain, and likes exploring a yard off leash. Fumi is very sweet and probably doesn’t possess a mean bone in her body.
Fumi is excellent with all dogs and cats, and LOVES children and greets them with kisses!
Fumi is overweight and needed some dental work; please help Fumi get healthy and donate to help DC SIR care for her and her brother.
