Lilly's Story...
Lilly Belle is a 2-3 year old female Chiweenie that weighs 10 pounds. She is so so sweet and wonderful with children, other dogs, and even the cats. She is very submissive and does not like confrontation. She is a dog that likes to please. She is nervous in new situations but settles in nicely. She is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and housetrained. She gets really excited when she gets to go on walks or for rides in the car. She loves to sleep underneath the covers in bed or as close to you as possible so her new family needs to be okay with her as a sleeping buddy. Her ears point way out to the side when she is happy. They are very unique looking and bring a lot of attention to her when we are out socializing. She is very cute! Her adoption/donation fee is $250.00.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Oviedo Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Oviedo, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Oviedo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oviedo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oviedo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oviedo paves the way for another one to be saved.
