Oh, pretty girl! If you are looking to adopt a sweetheart, then look no further. Afina is your girl! She is an energetic, happy, kiss-giving, sitting in your lap, snuggling in bed, kind of dachshund. Ms. Afina is great with her 2 doggie foster brothers and sister and has meshed right into the pack. She loves to run around the backyard, is house-trained, and is eager to go on leash walks around the neighborhood. She's had no accidents in the house since she's been with us and is attached at the hip to her foster dads. Afina loves attention and will be by your side all day long. Afina needs a home where she will have company -- either human or canine -- and lots of activity. She is still a young gal (estimated 3-4) and, like many dachshunds, needs exercise and stimulation to ensure she does not become bored and destructive. Afina has not been around cats or children while with DREAM, so we do not know whether she is good with them. If you have cats and would like us to cat-test her, let us know.
Afina will be available to go to her new home after she is spayed on November 10.

dreamhappytails.org/adoptform.shtml. Afina 's adoption fee is $xxx. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Afina will go to her new home microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.
DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.
