Stan's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, and up to date with shots.

Stan's Story...
Stan the Man is an incredibly handsome 1 yr old Labbie! Stan is extremely active and his new home must be active too. Stan's favorite thing to do is to play fetch and toss around toys. Stan is still very much a Labbie puppy though so he will need continued work on learning what is and what isn't a toy. Stan is crate trained and housebroken but he is a strong boy on his leash. Stan is almost done with his doggie boot camp classes and he has done great! His new family needs to continue all of his training so he can reach his full potential!

If you are interested in this dog, please fill out an application at www.DLRRphoenix.org. Someone will call to schedule a home visit so you can become an approved adopter. Also, visit our wonderful Facebook page at www.facebook/desertlab. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stan, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
