My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar totally lives up to her name since she is the sweetest cat in the entire world. She really, really loves people and loves to have her chin scratched. She'll rub into your hand when you pet her, purring softly all the while. She's so happy when you come home from work and moves right into your lap. Once there, she won't budge unless you ask her to.

Sugar was adopted from a local animal control as a kitten in 2012, She had a happy life with her human, but, sadly, he died. So Sugar came back to the animal control, and because kitten season was in full swing, the sweetest cat in the world got overlooked. Her time was up, and she was on the "euthanization list," when Sugar's foster mom swooped in to offer sanctuary. What a tragedy it would have been for the sweetest cat to die when she has so much love to give!

When she's on your lap, Sugar is the happiest cat in the world in addition to being the sweetest. Her ideal home will be one where she gets attention. A home where people sit. Best of all would be a home with a rotating schedule of sitting people.
