My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dani, boy does this girl like to play! She has a lot of energy for her age and she is going to be a big girl, but what a beauty she already is! She came to the rescue the week of October 25, 2014 so we have not had her very long and will be assessing and posting more as we get to know her.

Name: Dani
Age: Est. 8-11 mos. old
Gender: Female
Mix/Purebred: Purebred
Housetrained: Assessing & working on it
Crate trained: Yes
Heartworm Negative/Positive: Negative
Spayed/Neutered: Spayed
Micro chipped: Will be before adoption
Good with other dogs: So far good with dogs but still assessing, seems a bit dominant
Good with cats: Seemed good with the cats she has encountered at shelter and vet
Good with children: Yes

Dani was not socialized at all, but is doing well now with her foster friends as she learns doggie manners. She is a bit dominant and can be bossy so she is not for the beginner dog owner. She would best benefit from an experienced GSD adopter who has had success with training and socializing GSD's before to represent the best of this breed to others they encounter. We always want our dogs to be well trained and a joy to people they meet outside their own family.
Dani is walking on the leash fine now so we know she is one smart cookie.

She would enjoy daily long walks or would be a great running companion so that all that extra energy has somewhere to go each day! Remember she is still a puppy so lots of work goes into owning a dog at this stage - apply if you are ready to take charge, be a great leader and give her the love and attention she deserves.

If you are interested in adopting Dani, please go to our website to complete our adoption application and someone will get in touch with you.
