My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oliver is an adorable twelve week old lab mix puppy. He weighs about 20 pounds and is pure FUN! From the looks of the soft chocolate and black coat Oliver was taken well care of before being turned into a high kill southern shelter. Oliver is playful, happy and just loves being snuggled! It is so much fun to watch Oliver and his friends play then fizzle out for a nap. Oliver is in a foster home and getting lessons on potty training and he is a quick learner.

If you are interested in giving Oliver wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com or call Beverlywith questions about the dogs at (901-651-6322) or Angela with questions about our adoption process at (203)909-8861.

Oliver's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover his neutering, shots, flea/tick meds, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fee. Oliver is fostered with in Tennessee. He will travel to his new family by professional pet transport once he has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a bi-monthly transport to Illinois / Wisconsin / Minnesota.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
