Lana's Story...
This beautiful yellow Labrador Retriever mix is Lana. Lana is about 6 years old. She was found as a stray and the family that found her said she was so sweet and great with her kids. Lana is one of those dogs that is just the perfect family dog. She has just the right amount of calm, gentle temperament with just a little bit of spunk! In the first photo she is sitting waiting for the ball to be thrown. Even though she does not retrieve it she likes to run after it. She is such an affectionate dog, just loves hugs and to be right near you. She had JUST arrived the day before her photos and video were taken and she is doing so well. We would love for her to find a family again and for forever this time because Lana certainly deserves it. She would not hurt a fly, would make a great companion for any household.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lana, a Marseilles Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marseilles, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marseilles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marseilles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marseilles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marseilles paves the way for another one to be saved.
