My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB May 11, 2009.

Saki is a beautiful lady with white gloves and blue eyes and silky buff-grey coat. She is a very affectionate cat, almost as affectionate as a dog. She is always by your side and will follow you everywhere, most of the time purring (and she has probably the loudest purr her foster parent ever heard!).

Saki was rescued from an abandoned house. She was originally adopted from TCR as a kitten, and lived with her family until she was abandoned when they moved. Although there was food and water in the house, we do not know how long she had been there all by herself.

Perhaps because of this experience, she's a light sleeper. It will take a bit of patience to trim her nails, especially as she does not like her paws handled. But she's a gentle girl, so you'll be able to coax her into relaxing for you. If she hisses at all, never fear: she doesn't mean it (the position of her ears will reassure you), and starts purring right after hissing.

She is a big girl (8.6 kg, almost 19 lbs) who needs to be kept on a strict diet (high fiber & small amounts). Plus exercise: which is great, because she enjoys playing with toys. Best of all, she is very mellow. An ideal situation for her is a home where there is a human around during the day, because she is so attached to her human. She could let you rub her tummy all day!

Saki is a sweetheart and can't wait to find her forever home.
