Ralph's Story...
Meet Ralph! He is a young and very sweet dog who is looking for a forever family who can give him the love and care that he needs. When he arrived as a stray, Ralph was scared and very malnourished. He has since put on a healthy weight but he is a still a little shy are reserved...but who can blame him! He was living on the streets and who knows how his previous owners treated him.
Ralph may be a little shy around new humans at first but he does not hold back when meeting a new canine friend! He loves other dogs and really opens up when he gets to play with other dogs. He comes out of his shy little shell and is 100% dog!
Ralph is looking for a family who will have the patience to let Ralph blossom in his own time and help him learn and grow. He is a wonderfully sweet boy who deserves better than he has been given.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ralph, a Cedar City Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Cedar City, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in Cedar City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cedar City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cedar City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cedar City paves the way for another one to be saved.
