My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joy was rescued from the shelter just in the nick of time in late December! She and her beautiful puppies were pulled when her pups were just days old. All her pups have found wonderful new furrrever homes...and now it's Joy's turn. Even though she was a mother she still has a ton of puppy in her. She loves to play with squeky toys and chew bones. She also loves to snuggle. She is housetrained and needs a family with energy to help her burn off her energy. Joy needs to be an "only child" because she doesn't get along well with other dogs. If you think you'd like to make this gorgeous gal a permanent member of your family, please contact PAL for more information on adoption policies and procedures.

Note: Due to our requirement for a successful home visit prior to final approval of the adoption application, all adoptions are limited to the local Northern VA area
