Leo's Story...
It's a Sunday night in winter, a night just like any other night except something feels like it's missing. The fireplace is going and you're wrapped up tight in a blanket watching your favorite TV show and yet there is a silence in the house you can't ignore. And then it hits you, it's me. You're missing me. Imagine I'm laying at the end of the couch, my nose softly whistling as I exhale; I'm dreaming of catching the world's largest tennis ball. You haven't had a dog in the house in a few years, or maybe you've never had one before. But you need one now, and that dog is me. I'm the constant companion to cold feet and your best friend throughout life. I need a good home, one that will wrap me in hugs and give me lots of kisses. My fur might be gone for now (it is coming back), but my love is stronger than ever. Come and say hi, I promise I'll give you warmth, companionship, and joy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Bradenton Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Bradenton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bradenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bradenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bradenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bradenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
