My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Myla is a sweet little 2 yr old girl weighing in around 35 lbs. She's a little shy with strangers initially, but warms up and wants to be a lap dog given a chance. We believe her breed to be a mix of spaniel and cattle dog.

Myla was surrendered to a small rural shelter because she was suffering from separation anxiety and her owner lived in an apartment. We really have no other history other than that. She will need an adopter with another dog or with someone that is home the majority of the time. She is housetrained and crate trained. We do not know how she interacts with cats or children.

Myla seems to do best with a submissive male dog that likes to play and wrestle. She has some initial greeting fears so it may take her a few days to totally trust another dog. She needs an experienced adopter willing to spend time with her working on some good greeting manners.

Myla is spay, up to date of her vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm, tick and lyme disease.
Her adoption fee of $200 helps cover the costs of her spay, vaccines and testing plus helps us care for and feed the other dogs in our rescue.
